LG is no longer in the phone business, yet some of its premium handsets continue to get promised software upgrades. On this list is the LG V60 ThinQ, a 2020 dual-screen smartphone. In the United States, the Android 13 update is currently available for the device. But, the firmware is only being rolled out to T-Mobile V60 devices.
It addresses bugs and secures the LG V60 with Android 13.
A Reddit user discovered the update, which is 1.18GB in size. It updates the LG V60 to Android 13 and includes bug fixes and security enhancements. Users of T-Mobile who have loaded the update indicate that the phone’s speed has significantly increased due to the new software.
This is expected to be the final significant Android update for the LG V60 ThinQ. The business has guaranteed Android phone upgrades for three years. According to LG’s update policy, Android 13 should be the final version for the phone, which launched with Android 10.
If your LG V60 is not associated with T-Mobile, you may have to wait longer for the newest update. It has allegedly not reached AT&T or Verizon LG V60 subscribers. Those with unlocked devices in other regions of the world have not yet gotten the update.
