Snapchat has announced that it will send out its artificial intelligence (AI) chatbot dubbed ‘My AI’ to all users on a global scale with enhanced features for chatting with friends.
Snapchat+ users are currently transmitting nearly 2 million chat messages per day through ‘My AI’ in order to learn more about movies, sports, pets, and the wider world.
“Your AI comes with one of thousands of unique Bitmoji variants and can be readily customized to reflect your personality. “Create a personalized Bitmoji for your AI, give it a name, and begin chatting,” the company stated.
It is simple to include My AI in any of your conversations with peers.
“My AI surfaces place recommendations from the Snap Map and suggests relevant Lenses,” Snapchat, which has 750 million monthly active users, said at an event on Wednesday evening.
On average, over 55,000 Snaps are now produced every second on Snapchat.
The company also announced additional app features.
Creators participating in an early pilot of the Stories revenue share program are posting to Snapchat more frequently.
“Now, creators with at least 50,000 followers, 25 million monthly Snap views, and at least 10 monthly Stories posts are eligible to join our Stories revenue-sharing program,” the company said.
More than 100 million Snapchat users communicate via voice and video calls each month.
“New Calling Lenses allow you to break free from the grid and appear together in a single frame, and in the near future, you’ll even be able to play games and solve puzzles while virtually face-to-face,” the company added.
Snapchat has introduced a new type of Story dubbed ‘After Dark.’
“The next time you stay up late studying or socializing, contribute to the After Dark Story. “In the morning, view the Story to recap the previous evening,” Snapchat stated.
The company is introducing a new location sharing option to Snap Map.
“On Snap Map and elsewhere, 1.7 billion Snapchat users are represented by their Bitmoji. According to the company, “this year we added shoppable fashion so that your Bitmoji could not only look like you, but also dress like you.”
